The hotel is beautiful, the delicious breakfast overlooking the river and the dinner in the bush were unforgettable experiences. โThis was our 5th visit to Elephant Plains. It's the most affordable option in the Sabi Sands and an excellent place to stay. Since our 2022 visit, they have updated the rondovels. They're super comfortable with everything you need. Staff were great. They seem to have simplified the food options (an improvement) and the quality is great.

The unique daily game drives had our Bush Bar (best bar in South Africa, thanks to Benjamin and Penwey) interrupted by a Nyala being chased by a wild dog.

โWe stayed at the Sunbird Lodge for 3 nights, and it was very peaceful and quiet. It had two twin beds, a set of bunk beds, small kitchenette, television, air conditioning, desk and chair, as well as outdoor patio. The pool was clean and extremely warm, but refreshing. โWir haben uns als Familie sehr wohl gefรผhlt. Mitarbeiter waren alle auรergewรถhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem Eingangstor zum Krรผger Nationalpark und ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt.
Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Wasser im Pool machte allerdings keinen guten Eindruck. Der Pool wurde zwar tรคglich gereinigt, dennoch war das Wasser nicht klar. โ
