“Great location near downtown Scarborough and the Port, this hotel hits higher class than the budget hotel category that we might consider Comfort Inn line to be. The onsite spa was excellent. “I booked this room at 7:48am on Friday 13th, October 2017 for the same day. Upon arriving at the hotel, the manager states that she cancelled my booking at 7:50am because there were no rooms available. No apology. Rooms were still listed on Expedia as available. I received no official correspondence regarding this cancellation.I was told by the front desk that they can cancel it on their system but I would need to call Expedia to let them know the situation. I am currently awaiting a refund....

“I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort. Considering the premium price we paid, the experience was far below acceptable standards. The property is clearly not being properly maintained. There were broken balustrades around the resort, and several areas were inaccessible because sections of the ceiling had fallen out. “The room was great, exceptional view. The only thing that was a little off-putting was having to ask for towels. There were no face towels or wash cloths. The breakfast was good and all except for the last staff member we encountered on the day before we left was very pleasant and helpful. All in all we had a very wonderful stay and have been recommending this hotel as a must anytime in Tobago.”

“The staff was very accommodating due to me having to show up a day late for my reservation after missing my ferry ride. The bed however was not the most comfortable. I woke up with body aches. The phone wasn't connected at all to make a phone call to the front desk if I needed anything. There was only 1 trash in the room which was extremely small.
