The bar was a lovely place to spend time and the whiskey knowledge was incredible. The room was very comfortable great water pressure and super comfy bed. Would return in a heartbeat.”

“Rooms were great, exceeding expectations considering its location in the countryside and cheap price. However, the owner should not be so aggressive about inconveniences caused by guests. If he thought we were too loud in our rooms, the owner should have simply said so. Barging in to our room without any warning or properly announcing himself(he just opened the door and came in his bathrobes) was unacceptable. Proceeding to then waving/pointing the end of his walking stick at his guests' faces...

“The sleigh bed and size of the bed was nice. It can be hard to find this in Scotland. I wouldn’t say Elgin was our favorite spot in our 2 weeks in Scotland, and this hotel was average with a cool old feel. The breakfast was nice. The shower and room a little outdated but suited our needs for one night. Probably not a spot I would stay for more than one night. Parking was easy, check in was easy. ”

“The room was clean. However, we decided not to stay as we did not feel safe. The door has a very weak lock and access from the street up to the rooms is open to anyone. Also, the en suite bathroom and toilet door did not close or lock. ”
