“Nothing was too much trouble, and responses from staff were always genuinely friendly in a manner better than I have seen in years. The rooms weren't perfect (in terms of renovation specifically) but everything is still very well presented.”

“the managers were helpful carrying our cases up and down two fcloors. no lift there. we found the menu had the same thing on every night. i am a diabetic type two and not everything i could eat apart from the beef steak pie and chicken with rice. i did not want the peppercorn sauce but i asked for gravyt which was bought to me when i had nearly finished the meal. room service could have been better. sometimes no milk ortea bags . one occasion waste paper basket not emptied and cups...

“Lovely little hotel, superior room was bigger than we expected looking over the front of the hotel. Fairly clean, only minor point, as the hotel was full there were no spare pillows,I sometimes, I struggle with my breathing hence the extra pillow at night. Will stay again.”

“We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected. It was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet (we were there midweek on a slightly rainy day). We also ate at the pub and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again!”

“The room is well-decorated. And the host is kind. But the room was little noisy. My room was outdoor A/C unit view. I was surrounded by them. So that machines made a lot of noise. There is no E/V.... and the stairs ate complicated. If you have big luggage, you should think again to stay here. And one more thing, bathroom floor was not clean and was slippery though I didn't spoiled anything.”
