"This hotel had its pros and cons.
Pros: The hotel itself was clean and athletically pleasing.The staff were friendly, helpful, and immediately responded to our concerns.The room was clean upon arrival. There is a sauna and pool onsight,which we used almost everyday to relax.Breakfast was good,with a decent amount of food/drink options, but the food selections were the same everyday.Another huge Pro is the location of the hotel. It’s right across the street from Central Station and is within walking distance of many of the locations we wanted to visit-such as the 9 Streets of Jordaan,the Ann Frank House,numerous museums,canal cruises,markets,and the Red Light District.
Cons: The first room to which we were assigned had a few problems.The flush on the flush on the toilet broke,there was a flickering light,and the teapot had not been cleaned.When we brought this to the attention of the staff,they immediately switched our room and the new room was great.Another issue was with the TV.When using the casting feature,it frequently stopped working.With the frustration of casting,we decided to rent a movie; however,no movies to select were available. When brought to the staff’s attention, a representative came to our room within 15 minutes to help us troubleshoot.We resolved the casting feature,but we were unable to rent movies.The last issue we had was with housekeeping. There was 1 day (of 4) we were out all day and housekeeping never came. Upon notifying staff, someone was sent up."
