Lovely hotel but could have more to do

Great staff, beautiful rooms and pool. Nice little walks along the marina. Would be good if there was a bit more advertising about things to do nearby.

From the first moment at check in you feel very welcome! The stuff is attentive and service orientated. Half board is excellent, the meals are delicious and there is always a choice for everyone. Room service did a great job ! Pool area and pool nice to chill and refresh. Great place to stay !

This hotel is located in middle of nowhere. If you want to eat outside there is nothing close by. But the hotel, room and facilities are good, as is the location. I was just let down by the dirty curtains, sofas and mold in the shower. With a little.more care this can be a good getaway option

What a surprise!

Great experience! New structure with all available confort you’d expect from a 4 star hotel! All studied in the deepest details. Hotel is located in a restricted new residential area close to a golf court. Great pool and great professionalism by all staff. Special mention for Anjana who has been always kind and ready to satisfy every request, bravo!! Empowering the real Omani hospitality. Suggest to go to the Dunes restaurant few km from the hotel where you can enjoy great food close to the sea!

Sometimes a place just talks to you. You feel like you never wanna leave. It can be hard to explain what it is but when it comes to Sifawy there are a few things. The service is warm and genuine. Harbour suite is spacious and stylish. Breakfast is of high quality. Cleanest pool you can imagine. It was no issue for us that the hotel is in a remote resort. The oppositionen. Quiet and a great place to chill. Well, the place was so good that we left another hotel and came back.

Overpriced

The hotel is tired, furniture stained, markings and scratches on the furniture and doors, and most importantly did not feel clean. Overpriced for the facilities and room. We booked the suite and it was hardly worth the money. The floors were stained and some bugs found around the bathroom and room. AC was humid and sheets smelled of humidity too. Breakfast was okay. Overall wouldn’t book this hotel again.

New paint smells strong on the room. Horrible rotten smells underneath the windows. I requested 2 twins and they give me 1 king and insisted I should be happy. I didn’t feel comfortable, so I left after a long hour drive from muscat. Horrible experience. Highly not recommend.

Für uns das beste Hotel unserer Omanreise, obwohl es nicht direkt am Strand war. Man wird jederzeit zum Hotelstrand "The Dunes" gefahren, der wirklich schön und bei uns immer fast menschenleer war. Wir haben ein kostenloses Update auf eine Marina Suite bekommen und die war der Hammer. Überhaupt ist das Hotel mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und so lecker. Jedes Gericht, das wir beim Abendessen bestellt haben (wir hatten uns gegen die angebotene Vollpension mit Buffets entschieden) war richtig gut und auchv preislich ok. Ein wirklich empfehlenswertes Hotel

Awesome location,but lacking perfection in quality

Though very far from the city, it’s a lovely location where the hotel is situated. Had a bad experience with F&B and service when we stayed in the same property 6-7 years back. But the service level has improved now. Seems like the maintenance is not being done properly and it’s reflected in many areas even though the property is not that old. My sister and family were also supposed to join us and it would have been great fun had they joined. We usually travel in large groups. On a previous visit, they were turned down by the security at the Bank Beach club citing the reason that kids are not allowed. It’s such a shame that a very nice property is built on a charming location which looks like family friendly, but then kids are denied entry.
