"A second visit after many years to this lovely hotel. The staff could not be more welcoming or helpful. Everything is meticulously clean. It’s a quiet corner of Santa Marinella overlooking the castle’s private park and the full breadth of the sea from our room on the second floor (no lift but it’s manageable). It was wonderful to hear the waves breaking on the castle shore first thing in the morning and last thing at night. There are three good restaurants in the square and the towns shops - including nice bars, supermarkets and a superb gelateria - are between the hotel and station. The promenade and the port are 5/10 minutes walk in either direction. It’s the loveliest place to stay in Santa Marinella and only 45/50 minutes out of Rome. "
