"The room smelled like people smoke in it (tons of cigarette butts on the patio just outside the sliding door). I put the AC on and it helped with smell. We stayed here for access to the pool and to visit the Aquarium the next day. For the $ this place's pool is better than the Hilton up the hill (and like 3Xs cheaper). I would stay again, at a good price (shoulder season), if it was for 1 night so the kids could swim but would change rooms if we got a smokey one."

"We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. This is the second time we have stayed at a Marriott Hotel within one year, and the hotel was identified as having an indoor pool. Yet when we arrived and asked about the pool, we were told it had not been available since the fall of 2025. Yet, when we used the television to review the hotel amenities, the indoor pool was featured with pool hours. Clearly, this was false advertising!
