“Staff was very friendly and view from our small but clean, comfortable room was amazing! The downside is that you have to haul your luggage up an old stone walkway and staircase to check in at The Water hotel. Unfortunately, our bags were 50 lbs (23kg) each. Luckily, a staffer offered to take them the rest of the way to our room at The Rock, which is more old stone stairs up to an old stone walkway away. There are no elevators. “Cute village. Swimming pool area is cute and relaxing. Bus stop is nearby. the Village is on the hill so has good view but need to walk up all the way and many stairs. in the case ur knee is not strong, check the room location in advance with to hotel. During the stay, hot water was not stable nor controllable so I and my friend both got scald bc very hot water comes out all of sudden almost every 2mins. It was repeating. ”

“We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. “Nice and newly renovated property. Not too far from town, but not walking distance. We took taxis and the water taxi a couple times. Only disappointment was our rooms that had children booked in each were not placed on the same floor. I think they could’ve made a greater effort to ensure this since we booked well in advance.
