This is lovely property--once you can find it! I spent two very frustrating hours with GPS on my IPhone trying to locate this property; I began to wonder if it even existed. I inquired at 2 different hotels who had no clue, though they tried to locate the property from the information on my confirmation sheet. I went to the bus station ticket office, a taxi driver, and finally parked my car in a large square and began to walk. Finally, one hotel clerk found a different branch of this hotel and directed me to it. Fortunately, there was a very helpful young man there who returned with me to my car and showed me the way. It turns out that Pension A is not accessible by car; you must park at some distance (assuming you can find a parking place) and walk to the hotel, carrying your luggage. Once found, Pension A is quite nice; the room I was given had a lovely balcony overlooking Nafplion. The room was furnished in a lovely vintage fashion, and the architechtual details of the spacious room were really stunning--stone walls and vaulted ceilings. The proprietor was very kind, and breakfast (not available until 8:30AM) was ample and served on a lovely terraced balcony. I would suggest that the hotel MUST provide anyone who books a room with detailed directions and a map as to how to find the property. Had I known the difficulty in finding the hotel, I would not have booked. To find dinner, I had to walk down about 150 circuitous steps, hoping along the way I would find my way back.

View from the room we stayed was very beautiful. We could see the water, mountains, and the beautiful city. The owner was very nice and help arranged the taxi for us to go to anywhere we wanted. I would love to go back to stay at this hotel again

A very nice bed and breakfast hotel in a great location on the old acropolis of Nafplion, with views across the rooftops and the harbour. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was huge with typical Greek savouries, bread, fruit, yogurt etc. There are lots of steps up and down to Napflion town, but the town is beautiful and makes the effort worth it. We had a great holiday.

Cute Room on Hilltop

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was there for a short time so didn’t have time for the breakfast. My only advice would be to check on exactly which room your staying- the directions sent me to Pension A which is at the bottom of the hill (where I parked) but my room was Pension D which is at the top of the hill. The staff helped carry my bags but I could’ve parked a lot closer and saved everyone the effort.

Jimbo stay at Pension A Nafplion

Quaint little Pension , only draw back is finding the place was difficult , parking was nothing to do with the Pension which was not close , location is in a great spot overlooking the harbour , although we were blocked out by the buildings directly in front , all on all not bad value

Unique location with outstanding views of Nafplio, the harbor and the fortress. Rooms were unique, price was quite reasonable and breakfast was very good. Good thing to realize: - There are 4 Acronafplia Pension Hotels, this is the "A" hotel, however they all come up on Apple or Google maps as Acronafplia Pension Hotel so you need to know your address. - Parking for Acronafplia Pension hotel isn't obvious. It is about 1500 feet from the hotel at a 180 degree bend in the road. You need to walk down a path, through a stone gate to get to the hotel. It really isn't bad, but you need to know what to expect We'd stay here again

Great property!

This is a great property in Nafplio! The building is a little older, so the showers and bathroom facilities are small, but it has been updated/renovated significantly, so it's comfortable and the AC works great! The staff are helpful and friendly, and the view over Bourtzi and up to the Palamidi Fortress are decent. Parking is at an old hotel up the hill, with a 5-minute walk to get to the property.

Tolle Aussicht auf die Bucht (leider steht ein halbfertiger Wohnturm noch dazwischen). Der Hotelier war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück gut und üppig. Die Zimmer sind wirklich so herzig wie auf den angepriesenen Fotos.

The water view from our terrace was a great way to start off each day! The included breakfast changed daily but always included yogurt and Greek honey. Good security as there was always a family member watching over the building. Lots of steps up from the town center so be ready for that. All the staff was friendly. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Colazione super con toast, sfoglia con formaggio, torta casalinga, pane e marmellate, tè o cioccolata calda, spremuta d'arancia, yogurt con miele, uovo sodo... Vista dall'alto su tutta Nauplia. Camera tripla ampia su due livelli con condizionatore. Unico problema (sopportabile): raggiungibile solo a piedi dal più vicino parcheggio (200 metri) e discesa in centro con rampe di scalini (50 circa).

It is difficult to find this hotel if you are using a GPS on your phone. The phone number for the hotel is not the one listed. When we found the hotel the owner was welcoming and helped us with our bags. The room was clean and quiet. It was also in a perfect location and had a fantastic view. I would recommend it to anyone else traveling to Napflio.
