Great area …. Clean . Super low ceilings so if you are tall watch out. We were on 3rd level up so it was hard with a lot of luggages. Overall it was a great place to stay .

Nice big room, with a fridge a hot shower and convenient location. Lacking in facilities. No wardrobe, no drawers, living out of suitcases. Air conditioning didn't work, until a faulty handset was replaced. Only two tea bags supplied, no milk, no coffee, even after requested. We we're told to go to the supermarket, which was closed due to a public holiday. Bed not made up, no curtains, only a light voile, not enough to keep out the security light outside. Pleasant staff, but either inexperienced or unprepared.

The service was excellent. Very nice owner who waited for me. What surprised me was the parking. There is no parking by the Hotel. It is also not possible to drive the car to the Hotel. This means you have to drag your luggage for about 1/2 mile. We just took our backpacks. Parking is safe. The hotel is located in the middle of the old city close to everything and very quiet. No view from the room. The three bed room had a slight smell from the bathroom. Best to keep the bathroom door closed. Room was cozy otherwise and everything was super clean.

Lovely hotel with excellent customer service.

Pension Filyra is charming and clean with a wonderful central location and a thoughtful continental breakfast provided. I have an example of the accommodation’s excellent customer service going above and beyond: A member of the staff accidentally knocked over a small bottle of my (fairly pricy) facial moisturizer while cleaning our bathroom one day, breaking the bottle and spilling much of it. I accepted this as something that sometimes occurs when staff clean very thoroughly! But what the staff member did next was truly thoughtful and special. After pointing out the accident and apologizing profusely (which would have been enough for me), she quickly ran to a shop and bought me a sizeable bottle of practically the exact same moisturizer for me to replace it—also all-natural and organic just like the original! This was an extra touch that I truly appreciated, and it made me to feel that this is an accommodation that really values customer service.

Amazing pension in the old city of Nafplio

The pension is ideally situated. The women who hold the pension is really sympathetic and helpful. You have your own breakfast everyday in your room (greek pastries, croissants and pain au chocolat). The furnitures are great and we really enjoyed our stay !

Pension Filyra is in a house in the old city. It was quiet and room confort was OK although on the 1st floor. For breakfast some foof is provided. NAFPLIO is a nice city where to stay to visit the archeological sites. This pension is OK for 1 night stay.

Var i Nafplio i 5 dager. Rommet var OK, men mørkt og uten balkong. Det var en benk utenfor, men terrenget var srått, så det var ikke godt å sitte der. Når vi hadde vinduet åpent, så var det rett ut i gata og alle som gikk forbi kunne se rett inn. Mye katter på utsiden som gjerne hoppet inn i vinduskarmen, derfor måtte vinduet være lukket.

very nice place

This is a very nice place. We had the ground room and it was really comfortable. The only problem we had was that it was a bit noisy. The owner is super friendly and the location is absolutly amazing. I know where to stay the next time I travel again to Nafplio.

Nice sitting area, large bathroom, quiet for being in town. Very easy walk to beach Aravanitia and shops. Lovely town, friendly people. Beach less crowded in the afternoon. Delightful candy shop next door, cupcake shop just a couple doors down, and best place to buy good quality worry beads in Greece on same street, Komboloi.
