We have stayed at white elephant for years. This year we were disappointed by staff and the room. We had to call multiple times to get our room cleaned and more towels. We had dinner reservations “booked” ahead of time by the concierge and then got to the restaurants and was told by didn’t have anything booked for us. When I went back and showed the concierge the email exchange where they had confirmed the reservations, there was not really a resolution. I had asked in advance if we needed reservations for Sunday brunch and was told that we didn’t. When I called last night to ensure that was the case, we were told that we did need reservations and that they could not accommodate us. The drivers around town were wonderful and great and the girls a the pool were wonderful as well. Overall, I am unsure if we will stay at the white elephant next year.
