"First time staying. First with the positive. The property was located on a nice beach. The property and room were clean. The swimming pool s were nice. Ok now with the negative. Food was just so so. You won't go hungry. They do the best they can. There was never a "hot" meal, buffet is what you get. The restaurants on the property were closed or not open on the dates we wanted. Besides that if you are handy capped you have stairs to climb on two of them which would be hard for my wife. I should mention we stayed 6 nights. There was a sewer smell every day we were there on the first floor in the bar !!! The outdoor hot tub sauna did not work at any time. At the buffet you can eat on the outside but birds will attack your food. The place we stayed out years ago had netting which stopped this. The employees were nice mostly but you could tell they didn't really like there job and probably the pay they were receiving. You get what you pay for and I wish we could have spent a little more and had a better memory."

"The staff was wonderful, friendly, and always willing to assist. Only issue we had was with out shower head being broken. Took two days of us constantly reaching out to the front desk for any assistance. Other than that, it’s a phenomenal resort."

"My stay at Goldwynn Hotel in Nassau, Bahamas was nothing short of exceptional—truly a five-star experience from start to finish. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with warm smiles and a glass of complimentary champagne, setting the tone for a relaxing and luxurious stay. A special thank you to the incredible front desk team, Latisha and Achantae. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our trip was perfect—no request was ever too small. Their attention and care made all the difference. They even helped us arrange an unforgettable private 4-hour boat charter, where we explored some of the Bahamas’ best sights, including Pig Island, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and enjoying a floating bar. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel itself is pristine. The rooms are spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The pool is perfectly heated to 88 degrees, making it ideal for a relaxing swim at any time of day. The food is also top-tier—fresh, flavorful, and consistently high quality. If you’re looking for peace, quiet, and truly outstanding customer service, do not waste your time searching for another hotel. Goldwynn is the place to be. I will absolutely be returning in the near future and already look forward to my next relaxing stay."

"Breakfast was good ,they need to figure out a way to keep the eggs hot. Otherwise, the breakfast was good with a nice variety to choose from.The room was clean and fresh towels were provided. Room is small . Very convenient area, beach right across from hotel. "

"This resort has potential but is in serious need of maintenance and upkeep. Pros: Room offered direct water access - not the beach but the canals in the neighborhood Quiet - it's very low key and peaceful Walkable restaurant and beach access - decent food nearby and basic beach access across the main road Cons: Really in disrepair - bathtub/showers/kitchen stained and facets all falling off in your hands Very inconsistent/incomplete room cleanup - they take the towels and don't replace them or only leave one. Hair and dirt everywhere on floors and counters in bathroom after a week. Considering the very lacking attention to room maintenance, we found it comical that the staff were literally standing in the doorway at checkout while we were trying to move our bags out and do the last check. Terrible/broken "queen" bed which was really a very broken pullout bed (see picture) Conclusion: This place has friendly front desk staff and has a nice, quiet atmosphere, but is really subpar for the price when compared to other options on this island."

"I would recommend this resort to everyone there is something for all ages. The resort is beautiful, the staff is amazing kind and would go out of their way to help any guest. I will definitely comeback. Things I wish I knew: for a standard room you walk right into the bathroom when you enter your room, there is only one door separating the bedroom and the bathroom the water park closes at 6pm, the resort pools close at 7pm"
