“Hotel swimming pool was awful. Dirty shower location and also pool condition. Also pool guide lady was no sense of service. Hotel can't get 4 star grade. Very old and also breakfast was unexpectable why I pay that money.”

“Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these. Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter. Check out was also quick and easy so a very good stay at a good hotel.”

My wife mentioned it to me when she was trying to check in half and hour early and I didn’t believe her but I witnessed it when I was checking out. At check out we asked if we could store a small cabin bag so we could go for a walk along the front but we were told the bag storage area was full. Really? If true then you need a bigger storage...

“Unfortunately there was a lot of dust in the property, the door to bathroom was so dusty you could write on it also the shelf next to the safe was also covered in dust. The handle to the living room/ kitchen was missing. There was no air conditioning but there were a couple of floor fans and portable radiators if required. Beds were clean and comfortable. As it was very hot the few days we were there we were surprised that the radiators in the hallways were on making it. Close to the train...

“It's a very nice hotel with plenty of charm and a really nice location. Cruise ships and other large ships come right past and it's not far of a walk to the main beach area and Pleasure Beach and was nice and quiet for our stay. Hard to fault the hotel in general. Breakfast was very nice as well. Staff were friendly. The rooms were roomy and looked nice but unfortunately the pieces didn't add up to what I had hoped for.
