"The lake and mountain views were worth the price alone. The Ryokan itself is very beautiful and traditional, the tatami and sliding paper doors made it feel like we had gone back in time. The onsen is nice and note that it is for separate male and female, so if you want to share the experience with family or partner you may not be able to. The restaurant was great with good service and meal options. The staff were so attentive and looked after us well. Small criticism was the room had a few stains on cupboards and floors, and the shower hose had a small hole which leaked onto the floor when showering. Overall a good experience and would recommend."

Soon after checkin my friend joined me for a small afternoon snack We had two draught beers, shared one bottle of beer and a small dish of banya kouda. The price was absolutely ridiculous at over 10,000 yen. The breakfast at 1,500 yen was both reasonable and delicious"
