The hotel room was very nice and the location is very close to everything. The breakfasts were great. The best part of this hotel is the owner, Spiros. Another guest described him as a family member and we would totally agree. He was friendly and available from early morning until late at night, answering any questions we had about Naxos, in detail, explaining everything to us, including restaurant recommendations, how things worked with the buses, stores etc. He is sincerely kind and very proud of his hotel. We would stay here again without a doubt.

Spiros and Fouli were wonderful hosts. We had a fabulous time at Georgie Mare. An easy 15 min walk from the ferry, very convenient to beaches and bars, and Spiros was a wealth of information about Naxos. We loved the breakfast and beautiful little touches in the room and around the hotel made our stay so memorable. Highly recommended.

Georgia Mare is a wonderful hotel. Everything is new and in perfect condition. The breakfasts are excellent. The location is very good, away from the tourist area but easy to walk to. Superb restaurants are 4-5 minutes away. But the part is Spiros the owner. He is so kind, helpful and genuine, a truly wonderful person who made our stay special.

The best hotel!!!

This is just a fantastic small family run hotel. The staff are the absolute best. Just always there to help with anything, from getting a taxi to opening a locked door and always with a smile. The room was comfortable and cozy. Loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Spiros is the most welcoming host we’ve ever encountered in our travels. We felt like we were special guests! He’s available 24/7 and even leaves his number in case you have a problem during your stay. Breakfast was great with many homemade goodies. The beach is a short walk from the property. For starters, the owner, Spiros, is an incredible host! He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the island - places to go, good restaurants, and even provides helpful info on how to navigate more hidden spots. His staff is also amazing; very friendly and kind. Breakfast each morning is all fresh and delicious - egg dishes, pastries (sweet and savory), local cheeses, veggies, breads, yogurt- it is an unbelievable spread. Fresh linens and towels everyday and if you need beach towels, they have some you can borrow. We had the best time and can't wait to return!

Siros is the best and sweetest host you can ask for. He gave the best recommendations for restaurants and how to navigate the city. I rented a car from nearby street and the whole trip was memorable. Beautiful room very conveniently located, free parking nearby, St. George’s Beach steps away. This is a perfect location to stay. You can walk by to the port. City comes to life at night and it’s completely safe to walk From hotel to Port and back, even after midnight.

I realize it might have taken me a month or so to write this review but it's all positive. Sideri Chrysafo and the entire staff were nothing but welcoming and amazing. Clean tidy great location my room was on the 1st floor and it was wonderful. I have full intention to return to your location maybe next year. The breakfast was enjoyable and I would highly recommend, the rooms are nice my next time hopefully I will bring a guest and we can get the room at the top floor with the full sea view, my room had a partial view and I enjoyed it so much, thank you for a great stay brad

Beautiful building in a quiet area. GREAT location - walking distance to the beach, shops, port, bus station, and restaurants! Decent sized rooms with AC and bar fridge. The breakfast was downstairs in the cutest little room with views of the street. There was a really beautiful rooftop area for sitting where you could see the mountains and the beach. Only downside was there was no elevator, however the hosts were adamant to carry everything for you. Not an issue for us, but might be if you struggle with stairs. Everything else was so amazing, that it didn’t bother us at all.

This gem of a property is truly exceptional! We loved our stay at Georgia Mare! Spiros, Stella, and team are amazing, and hotel is so lovely. It’s spotlessly clean, and the decor is fresh, tasteful and simple and inspires a relaxed vibe. The breakfast was delicious. I’ve never had better scrambled eggs and the homemade pies, cakes, and pastries were out of this world. The beach is right there and a 5 minute walk will get you to the Naxos Chora where there are many waterfront / seaside bars, cafes and the market. We followed many of Spiros’ and Stella’s suggestions for restaurants, car rental(OceanBlue Cars), places of interest and all were excellent! They genuinely want their guests to have the best experience possible. We were made to feel right at home in Naxos and hope to go back to Georgia Mare someday soon! We miss it already.

I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Naxos. The owners are lovely and very helpful. It has a great location with public parking near by and a couple minutes walk from the port. The owners are very accommodating and will give great advice and tips where to visit and places to eat. Our room was clean and we had a partial sea view. Breakfast is included and was delicious. The is a beach right by this location and many shops and restaurants near as well. We felt safe the entirety of our stay and the people were very friendly. If I were to go to Naxos again I would definitely being staying here again!!
