Food is excellent (breakfast is a standout), making the on-site dining worth staying in for. Convenient location too: about 15 minutes from the center of Monemvasia, so you’re close to the action but in a quieter spot. Overall, great value for a relaxed, quality stay.”

“This is one of the best hotels I have *ever* stayed at. Beautiful rooms at a historic hotel in the middle of an olive orchard, a 15 minute drive from Monemvasia. The manager came out to meet us when we parked, knew who we were and brought us to the room prior to my coming to check in. The included breakfast the next morning was fantastic, huge variety of freshly prepared foods. Incredible experience, thank you!”

“Excellent hotel. In the room terrace, you can see the whole Monemvasia. It takes a few minutes to the island by car, and there is supermarket within 5 minutes walk. Room is clean and spacious, and has separate entrance balcony. And breakfast was good enough. Above all, the staff were so kind and warmhearted, I felt.”

“It is located in the center of the castle. So it qas bit tough to carry the big luggage to the hotel. ( The road inside of castle is paved with stones.) However other conditions are all perfect. The room was a traditional stly and well organized. Hosts are kind, they offers delicous breakfast. Recommend here !!”

“I was there in December 2024. The owner and her family live upstais and that gives the property a plus of warmth! The room was nice and spacious with a little terrace. Very nice and quiet. Near Monemvaisa by foot. Near beaches. Beautiful mountains for hiking and rock climbing. Recommended ”

“Appartement tout neuf très confortable et bien situé par rapport à la ville de Gefira et à la ville basse de Monemvassia. Accueil sympathique par Stéphanie. Quelques soucis avec la literie neuve semble-t-il mais très inconfortable à notre goût. Qulques équipements de cuisine classiques non disponibles : bouilloire, planche à pain, palette ... Rien de dramatique toutefois. Une bonne adresse .. ”

“This place was very nice. It was pretty close to the entrance to the walled city. There were a few pretty good stairs to climb (with luggage). It was difficult to find. I'll leave a pic of what to look for. Before you get to the place, you'll see a sign that says "GULAS", but at the actual entrance, it is in Greek. The owner was there waiting for us (even though we were later than expected). I wish I had gone ahead and paid when we arrived, as she was not present when we were ready to...

“This was a real highlight of our vacation. Someone came to greet us at the entrance to the walled city and helped us carry our bags. We were all so impressed when we arrived at our little courtyard in what the kids thought was like a hobbit home. Inside was even better. Everything was clean and tidy and we were left with a bottle of local wine which was really tasty. There was a nespresso coffee machine and pods as well so we were very happy! The location was perfect, just a 1 min walk to...
