Jose and the staff are very welcoming. This hotel is a little off the Camino Ingles path but worth it. The pool is lovely! The rooms do not have AC and on a hot day it was a problem.
This property is so unique i would recommend cutting your Camino in half to stay here!
Amazing place. Spectacular grounds and rooms. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us after we misbooked our reservation. I cannot recommend the place highly enough. It was the favorite place we stayed on the Camino Ingles.
Staying there is an incredible experience, feels like a haven for Camino Ingles walkers. The history of the building is fascinating, and the host absolutely wonderful.

Preciosas vistas
The property is in a stunning place with beautiful views. There was not even coffee or tea available when we got there, and walking the Camino that was inconvenient and frankly appalling that you can not offer guests even basics like coffee or tea. Generally the room furniture and bathroom has a run down tired look, but the bed was comfortable.
My room was on the second floor. The room faxed the ocean and it was enjoyable watching the tide coming going in and out. The place at one time was used as a monastery from the 14th century. So cool.
The hotel is lovely, however it isnโt very accessible using public transport & the nearby town doesnโt have much to offer in terms of amenities. There was a wedding being held the day we arrived (which they kindly informed us of). We didnโt receive a warm welcome when we arrived, although this may have been because they were busy with the wedding.
