The Royalton Hideaway Negril Diamond experience was wonderful. We had great butler service from Okeen and Dwight. Tameka was our favorite bar tender. The grounds are beautiful and the scenery breathtaking. The beach areas were tranquil. Plenty of food options and people to assist you in booking excursions. We had a swim up pool and that was fantastic! Great for watching the sunrise and sunset. There is definitely plenty to do.
The entertainment and daily activities made the stay fun. The DJโs and dancers kept our nights filled with music and dancing. Much needed after eating so much food! I was also happy that there was daily water exercises. The staff conducting those classes really pushed us. It was great.
While we enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway, it is evident that the buildings need repairs and updates. Also, not all staff were friendly. Unfortunately there were a few who were rude.
Overall Royalton Hideaway was a great experience. The good outshines the areas for improvement.
The butlers was terrible. We had to ask for stuff multiple times like juice and liquor. We never got our mini fridge restocked. We had take our luggage to front no one was available to help with luggage. Desserts was hard. We ask for our room to be decorated all we got was sign on our door. No welcome drink.
We had an amazing few days at this property.
Once the trip was booked, a rep named Chantae reached out to see if she can be of service. We chose the birthday decoration package and we were exceptionally pleased with the outcome once it was completed!
Upon arrival at the airport, we were greeted and checked in quickly. We had access to the resort immediately and met up with our friends that were already there.
The rain didnโt dampen our spirits. The Vibe team was amazing keeping us entertained, the bar was always packed and busy as the drinks were always flowing and the bartenders kept everyone happy. There was a good selection of restaurants, especially the Jerk Hut.
Thereโs always something to do and never a dull moment! We will be back!
Lighting was next to none at night in lobby and walkway. Broken lock, lack of iron and inconsistencies with correcting wrongs and getting issues resolved
Chante the expedia, liaison manager. Was very helpful in resolving my room issue. She continued to follow up with me until the problem was resolved. Tameka, at the bar by the pool on the hideaway side was also awesome as well.

Staff upon arrival were great. Staff at adult pool were amazing and attentive. Housekeeping was phenomenal.
Restaurant reservations had to be made through app and staff was not accommodating with assisting (particularly a male in the lobbyโฆ rude and condescending). We didnโt spend over 4k to be told to go to the buffet. Very disappointing. Also, when asking where hot tub was, we were told they do not have one. They ran out of Titoโs one day and they do not have limes for drinks or olives for martinis or Bloody Mary. We were offered lime juice. So, make a stop when coming from airport to get your own garnishes/fruit. The web states you can go to sister resort (Lido) however, that is not true. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay through the disappointments.
The.resort need a face lift furniture in room
Are used fridge doesnt cool, food.always rhe same.not enought varieties.
I.would.nit go back so expensive i rate this.hotel.3.5 start
The staff were wonderful. I loved how friendly and outgoing they were and they made it a point every day to make you feel welcome. The property is dated and needs some maintenance, but the views are breathtaking. The food at the buffet was delicious! The two cooks who made omelets every morning always had a smile on their faces and they were so friendly, even when some people were grumpy . Iโve never been at a resort where I loved almost everything. We enjoyed eating At Dorado , ocean point, and calypso. I appreciated the separation of families and adults and loved to be able to do activities, the beach and bars on both sides. I also enjoyed access to walk across other beaches. We thought there was a lot of variety in the restaurant choices as well as having snacks at the coffee shop and sports bar. The only negative thing was our swim out room was right on the end (busiest place) where the staff and guests walked by constantly and we had a lot of noise such as cleaning carts and conversations going by . The view and room itself was beautiful , I would just pick a different location next time.

First, I would have to say that my husband and I have been to many all inclusives. I have never seen an all inclusive resort that put such a high expectation on tipping. We literally spent hundreds in tipping. you would expect the service to be just as high. We went all week without our housekeeper replacing our coffee packet. We had to ask. One day we did not get two washcloths. I called the front desk and they said they would get one right up. We waited. I called again. They said it was because of the weather. It was raining out. We never got one. On Thursday, the day before we left, the front desk called to let us know that our housekeeper was off the next day and if we needed anything leave her a note on the bed. I have never had people be so blatant about a tip.
The rooms smelled musty all week long. The staff stands outside and will snag you and ask you how your time is and our friends got talked in to an hour long discussion about timeshare. They stopped us to ask about our stay. Said we could get a deep clean for the musty smell, and maybe a gift on our anniversary! My husband declined the sales pitch. No deep clean came, and no gift. We could never get a reservation at one of the restaurants at a decent time. The app for it sucked. We walked in and asked to be squeezed in and were sometimes able. If youโre going to spend this kind of money, go to Sandals where they have more things to do.
So disappointed with this property! Stayed at the Royalton 4 times previously and this was my first time in the sister hotel the hideaway. Had the penthouse suite which had huge jacuzzi pool overlooking the ocean. This was my main reason for choosing this room but sadly the jacuzzi was unusable as it was freezing cold. I asked numerous times for somebody to come and fix it but this never happened. Also, i thought i would try the jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom. However, this had no plug so no way of being able to use this facility either! I was told i had 24/7 room service and a butler and so ordered breakfast at 7am. Breakfast delivered cold at 9am! Numerous complaints made on the property and i was told it would be dealt with and i would be called or/and emailed with a response and resolution. This hasnt happened either so a dreadful experience from a 5 star resort im afraid
I will was extremely disappointed. I have stayed here before but never again. I woild not consider this a "luxury " resorts. Our room was out dated, leaked paint into our swim up pool which one fixed and the third night the ceiling in the room leaked water and our floor wae dangerously wet.
Guess services was no help
We stayed at Hideaway at Royalton Negril. It was perfect for us. The food was exceptional. Staff were friendly and helpful. The entertainment was good. It's located on a point so on the beach it was only people who were staying at Royalton allowed. There was no cross traffic from other resorts or locals trying to sell stuff. I felt completely comfortable leaving our items on our lounge chairs for extended periods of time while we ate, swam or whatever. What I really like was it had a mix of nice sandy beach and rocky shore so the beach sitting/ocean floating was great but also, the snorkeling was fantastic. I saw live conch for the first time, many starfish, different color sea urchins and tons of fish I couldn't begin to identify.
