“Stayed two nights june 24-26, we enjoyed this place and would stay again. Its a bit out of the way and a car is required although there are regular bus stops at the front gate. Had a well manicured garden and nice pool. A rocky beach is about a 3 minute walk. The room was clean, had all the amenities we expected and the bed was comfortable. They have two breakfasts, a light continental and a buffet. The continental was enough for us.”

“We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. “Decent hotel but the location on a very busy road wasn’t ideal. Constant noise from quad bikes and motorbikes late into the night made it impossible to enjoy the pool during the day and kept us awake at night. A steep 10 minute walk up from the port and very handy for bars and restaurants in the Old Town.
The advertised poolside bar didn’t seem to be staffed although we were told that we could order drinks from the bar inside. The pool itself is nice but there’s no atmosphere as very few...

“We had a great stay at Margi House. The room was beautifully furnished, and the outdoor jacuzzi was so lovely. The hill, which many mentioned, wasn’t too bad and was easily doable. The receptionist was super helpful and friendly - always with a smile on her face. Just a few things that could be improved: our coffee & water glasses weren’t cleaned until the last day.
