"Clean room, nice decor. No kettle in the room (which is not uncommon in Germany I think), but late at night to first thing in the morning you can pick up a free coffee downstairs. The room with a view overlooking the railway did have some noise as they were carrying out engineering work overnight, but it didn't disturb us. A really nice hotel at a good price, in a excellent location."

"It’s a young people’s hotel. Clean and comfortable of loud. Amenities like hot drinks in a corridor rather than my room not for me. Perfectly good and good value for a type of traveller - just not this one ☺️ 51 year old business traveller."

"Room was a little dated with cracks in bathroom here and there however, cannot fault the stay we had a room upgrade with a view of the cathedral, the use of mini bar free of charge was very nice and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely book here again on our return visit."

"The hotel has quite a young vibe, but one that didn't put off this 70 year old. The top floor bar is lively and opens till late. Food in the dining room and at breakfast were good. Rooms are very spacious if a little spartan. And basement parking is a bonus"

"Das Hotel liegt perfekt zwischen dem Ehrenfeld und dem Stadtzentrum. Der online Check in verlief reibungslos. Zimmer war sauber und sehr modern eingerichtet. Blick auf die Kölner Skyline war ein echtes Highlight. Frühstück ok aber sehr günstig. "

"The hotel is superbly placed near the centre of the old town with its own walkway ( over the busy roads ) to the banks of the Rhine . We were very impressed by the grandeur of the interior and tge room was very spacious and comfortable . Unfortunately tge pool was extremely small ( more of a plunge pool ) not suited to providing me with my daily swimming exercise routine which required a length of 25m."

"The room was okay. Bed was the best part because it was comfortable. TV barely worked. Was almost impossible to use. Staff were okay as well. Not the most polite but at least somewhat helpful. Parking wasn’t ideal. I had to park somewhere else temporarily because I needed a code to get into the parking. Why not just have a ticket and validation system for guests. Breakfast was cheap (€13) but very basic. No sausages or anything warm. Coffee was tasty. "
