New Orleans, Louisiana hotel rooms at the Loews

"Very hot Price of hotel is not worth the size of the room ; which is small Feel like I was overcharged with unexpected charges from hotel Valet parking when checking out was horrible to say you pay 55$ for it . Only good thing I ca truly say was the bed a 10/10 & the bellman Mr. Raymond showed great hospitality. "

"The rooms were not cleaned until several calls were made. I removed a do not disturb sign at 11 am upon leaving the room for the day. Upon return the do not disturb sign was back on the door and the room was not cleaned. The next day the do not disturb sign was not placed on the door and the room again was not cleaned at all. Several calls had to be made before the rooms were cleaned. The cleaning crew emptied trash and gave clean towels as a room clean resulting in more call backs for basic room clean. When inquired at the front desk the protocol for room service I was informed unless you request room service your room will not be cleaned. A resort fee is charged daily for an unsightly view overlooking dirty unkept rooftops of nearby buildings. "

"First off, I am an Embassy Suite fan. Anytime I go on trips I look for their hotel first. However, my experience with this particular hotel was not a very good one. Started with them saying that they didn’t have my reservation and they were booked solid when I received a confirmation email about my stay. After an hour they found my reservation. Guess that was fine since it took them an hour to get my truck in Valet, mind you they don’t have self parking. Every time I requested my truck it took at least 30 minutes to get. Room had no soap and when they cleaned the room after the first night they didn’t leave any fresh towels. The positives I can say was that the bartenders were heavy handed and the breakfast was awesome. "
