Guest Houses in New Zealand

"Decent enough for the price, booked before looking at reviews and got a bit nervous when we read through them but the place was fine. A little rough around the edges but the actual room was fine, tidy, bed was clean, and bathroom was functional which is all you need. For the price and location I would stay again."

"Wonderful Stay. Close to Octagon Soaps etc outstanding"

"Lovely, well-equipped unit almost right on the beach so excellent view"

"Very clean room. It’s in a great location. Breakfast was great and the front desk left us a note when we were running late to check in. Overall it’s a nice place to stay but some of the paint on the drywall was messy and the drains were a little smelly. Something you might expect from a mountain lodge."

"The room was super cute and the amenities in our studio were better than I expected. The onsite laundry was a big plus. The location is great - a couple blocks to the beach, not far from the Cathedral Cove track, and a ten minute drive to Hot Water Beach. There’s also a store and cafe next door. Highly recommended."

"I had a fantastic stay at Te Aputa Lodge. It is truly a great property that offers a peaceful and comfortable getaway. Waking up to the nice sea view was a major highlight of the trip. Additionally, the entire place is perfectly well maintained, from the spotless rooms to the surrounding grounds. I would absolutely stay here again."

"Lovely stay, we felt like we were staying with friends. We also appreciated the extra frig for guests and the fact that there were so many restaurants within a 5 minute walk."
