  • #walkingwithdinosaurs - its an incredible show to see. The dinosaurs are very real looking and the narrator takes you on the journey back into time where you feel you are there. (an fantastic learning experience). Worth viewing but it is expensive. Our advice - look out for hot deals. We managed to get half price tickets. I would also recommend for ages 6+ . Found younger children may find it a little scary and it can be loud.

Great apartment within the town. Restaurants for all tastes within 0 to 5 mins walking. Train station 1 minute walk away and supermarkets with 5 mins walk. The apartment is set out well with a full kitchen.

Great appartment in a great area!

Great position. Easy access to restaurants and shopping as well as to the sights of Newcastle! The appartment is well set out with all the conveniences. Will be staying again! (Costs involved for off street parking)

I was a bit baffled by some of the poor reviews of this place on Google. For the price, you cannot beat the space, facilities and comfort this flat offers. The checkin information was clear and efficient. The bed was incredibly comfy and so useful to have a washing machine. Yes, the pub across the road was pretty noisy on Friday night so maybe avoid if you’re very noise sensitive, but otherwise, I’d definitely recommend. Try staying at a UK hotel for twice the price, a quarter of the space and no window, then you’ll see what a bad hotel is like!

Was accused ,via a phone call of having extra people STAY in the room, " alerted by the cleaner" apparently. Didnt see a cleaner the 2 nights i stayed there. So assume they live there and spy on everyone coming and going thru the cameras. The tone on the phone was unwarranted and not appreciated. Nice room, overcharged the second night by $27. But good location with easy acces for visitors to come AND go.

Ironing issue.

I had a very comfortable stay. One issue I had however was trying to do my ironing. I could only iron one or two things and the isolator in the electrical box kept tripping. Had to wait a few minites to continue then it would trip again. Very frustrating.

The apartment was very nice inside & we even got some washing done. Wifi has free & had good signal. For the price you pay, you get a real nice base in Newcastle. The issues were on street parking nearby, which while free, was always taken & we had to walk about 10 minutes to the car. The checkin is a bit tricky & the instructions provided should actually include a picture or step by step with some images. We did work it out, but yeah, just my suggestion. The room was also letting in a bit of light at night time & it is not easy to get it nice & dark for sleeping.

Excellent staff especially the boss, she helped carry our stuff upstairs to another room. This awesome place is like coming home after travelling for over a week, you can finally do your laundry. Highly recommended especially for family and workers
