It was a pleasant stay, the family was a great size and had comfortable beds however the shower and toilet need an upgrade but it was clean. And the breakfast was very nice.

Newquay: great hotel

Brilliant hotel, the family room was great and the children had their own bedroom. The room was very clean and the view to the sea was amazing. We will definitely come back!

Nice hotel for a long weekend away. The walk up and down the hill to and from this hotel is longer than expected.

Great hotel with amazing staff

Hotel room had all of the necessities we needed and suited our family sleeping arrangement. Lovely staff, they were so helpful and pleasant and accommodated any needs we had. Only minor downside was the size of the lift; we struggled to get our pram in but was able to with a bit of maneuvering.

We loved everything about the hotel .although it old it was excellently clean loads of room the dinning area roomie beautifully decorated the lounge was beautiful very reasonable good value for money

Great view, across the Bay. Room was a little small, considering we were told it was an upgrade. Pillows need changing a bit flat. Great breakfast and friendly staff

The hotel felt tired and dated and much in need of an update. However it was still one of the more affordable hotels in Newquay and the location is across the street from Tolcarne Beach where you can watch spectacular sunsets.

Nice and quiet hotel. Seems past its glory days though. Elevator broken, carpets could use uplift. On the upside easy to reach with extra pay parking. Good value for money on the whole.

Beautiful views just in front of the hotel. Unfortunately the hotel is very dated. The outside is in need of painting and the elevator was out of service and there was no help getting the suitcases to the room. But the hotel is very clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful.

the staff that we met were polite, helpfull, and hard working. The room was spacious, clean and tidy, we were happy with the food and drink that was available. We are both in our eighties, we coul have done without so many .stairs. Otherwise we were OK.

Overall a good stay. However, there were very strong winds when I stayed and the window was rattling and in some instances felt like it was going to fly off! Very drafty and noisy from road noise so I didn't sleep very well during my stay.

Decent stay

Cons: no lift, temporarily down. No room cleaning in the 3 nights we stayed. Shower was quite poor. £7.50 per night per car which’s expensive considering you can park 10 metres away for free. Pros: friendly staff all round. Good facilities including pool and dining area. Spacious family room. Beautiful scenery out of the front door

We had a great stay at BW Hotel Bristol. The staff were friendly and helpful. Gorgeous views of Tolcarne Beach from the huge window in our room. Room was clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable. Meals we ate there were tasty. Restaurant staff were sweet. It was just a quick walk to downtown and a bus stop across the street. The elevator was not working during our stay but stay brought our luggage up and down. Not really an issue. Overall excellent stay. This place is a gem!

This is a typical tired old hotel, seen better days, dated decor, but clean, and pleasant helpful staff. Due to heavy traffic arrived just after 9pm, and only a bag of crisps available in bar. Bedroom view superb. Cheapo toilet seat, bedroom power point faulty. Decent breakfast, served the purpose for a night in Newquay on business, very handy location.
