Staff are slow at everything, bar took ages to even be acknowledged let alone served, breakfast had to find someone to take our order after 20 minutes, housekeeping, asked for an iron and board and had to call another twice before it arrived. "Free parking outside the hotel (a bonus), greeted on entry and helped with check in. Rooms were adequate with ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was a little different: limited cereal option but different bread options for toast. A new one to me was the set menu for cooked breakfast- made to order. Also a choice of teas and coffee. Swimming pool and steam room downstairs as well. A quiet location, a short distance from the shopping areas on each side. 10-15 minute walk or drive it in less. ...
