"The room was far better than I was expecting. I was impressed by my large roof balcony (although far too wet and windy to use it on my visit) and the lovely view to the Botanic Gardens from it. Comfortable bed, the heating worked and a nice bathroom. Only improvement I can think of is a desk and chair, as I got a kink in my back from trying to work on my laptop off the bedside table. It's walkable from here. The Botanic Gardens across the road is worth a visit. There's a restaurant/café next door. Bus 8 from the airport has a stop not too far away, so that's convenient. I would stay here again and recommend this to others."

"We were so pleasantly surprised by our stay at The Black Horse!! Looks way nicer than the pictures and has such a lovely character. The rooms have all been recently renovated and we even got a sunny window which was nice to read your book in. Also there is a kitchen! So you can totally cook your own meals just like in a hostel.
