"I needed a place to stay overnight on a layover in Dakar. This was the wrong choice. The address you are given does not match the property location on Expedia. The staff who helped me was as sweet as they come but we couldn’t communicate. No lock on the bedroom door, and you are locked in the property. I ended up leaving and going elsewhere. "

"Unexpected surprise. We were on the fence about this experience. Was it really worth the money? The communication from the accommodations is horrible- perhaps they haven't learned how to use the messaging system. However, the onsite experience was stellar! FYI- There are not mosquito nets on the children's beds in the family lodge. Though we could not confirm food before we got there the breakfast and dinners are provided and quite nice. A breakdown of what is included and not included...

"Hello I'm Aisha from Silicone Valley California and I absolutely loved my stay. The place was clean and very peaceful. The staff was amazingly helpful, my friends missed their bus and property manager put them in a nice big room for free. "L’emplacement est correct proche du centre de mbour et de saly. La situation sur la plage est un plus.
Par contre, il semble que l’immeuble abritant les chambres ne soient pas sécurisé au niveau électrique. Dans notre première chambre, le gérant a allumé le chauffe eau a notre demande, ce qui a eu pour effet de m’électrocuter car j’avais le pommeau de douche a la main ! "I was there for 5 hours arriving late and leaving early. It's convenient located 15 minutes to the airport by taxi. I don't know of anything closer. my only complaint is the pillows are too HARD."

"To be honest everything. The room was full of dead ants when we arrived, including on the bed which we had to clean ourselves. And during the day, the water turned off and when we called reception, they were briefly rude and abruptly ended the call.
The restaurant’s food was terrible as well and overpriced, we asked for a menu and did not receive one and were charged buffet price for left over food (which we didn’t even get to choose).
Also, we made the mistake of booking a massage to relax, the massage itself was okay, but the room and equipment were dirty and the payment was complicated for no reason. The reception lady gave us false information about the payment, and denied it rudely after. Which confused us and the massage lady.
I would not recommend this place to anyone and would never come here again. It was a shame since the local people are nice and most staff were also nice but this made me feel very negatively about the place. "
