Wonderful property with amazing hosts! Not the easiest drive as it’s tucked in the hillside with some tight roads but well worth the stay. Area around the hotel is wonderful for relaxing including waterfalls and a swimming hole - highly recommend!

This place is magical, I’ve never stayed anywhere so beautiful in my life! The house itself is tastefully curated with thoughtful touches of hospitality, and is perfectly situated amongst forested mountains beside a crisp clear river with a natural waterfall. The family that runs the b&b are incredibly friendly and kind, as well as the housekeeping staff. Everything on the property is tidy and very well cared for, and the daily breakfast is fresh and delicious. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Small and super friendly.

Nice surroundings and very nice hosts. Some rooms may be a bit on the dark side. Cecilia and Michel are very friendly hosts and provide you with lots of advice about what to see and do in the area. Specifically the joined breakfast table allows you to socialise with the other which we highly appreciated.

This was our favorite place we’ve ever stayed!! - it’s special and magical and you can feel the owners love put into this place. I wish we stayed longer than 2 nights! The natural pool, waterfall and garden were so breathtaking. Clean stylish rooms, a perfect breakfast included, and sweet owners!

It was very tranquil with a wonderful waterfall. The host were very helpful and carried our luggage up the stairs to the room. The room was very large and accommodated the three of us. They had a nice kitchen, but we did not use it. The parking was nice and fit our large SUV.

Loved it!

A wonderful 5 night stay in Moulin Camoula. Hosts Cecilia & Michel are wonderful and very welcoming. Breakfast buffet has delicious breads, homemade jams & yogurt, cheeses, smoked meats, etc and a variety of beverages. Location is beautiful: nestled in a valley of the Cagnes river, a short drive away from beautiful towns and 20min from Nice airport. Room/bathroom was spacious and well decorated with quality materials. Loved sleeping with the window open to hear the waterfall. Gardens are lovely. Great value - strongly recommended!

Great great experience I will only recommend

we just stayed here for 3 nights and just amazed by the experience. The hotel manager is super friendly and was always there when we needed help. Our room is quite big and the bathroom/toilet is separated. I love the bed very much, the mattress is not too soft nor tough, perfect for us. And they use linen bedding which I was so amazed about. There are lots of places to sit outside and if you are lucky, their dog will come and hangout with you. You can even sit outside with chickens and peacocks. It is not a huge hotel but very unique and personal. Already recommended this place to family and friends.

Michel and Cecilia have created a paradise in the mountains above Nice/Antibes/Cannes. Le Moulin Camoula is tranquil and comfortable, and offers great accommodation for travelers who may be weary of the grind of European travel, or who just want to hear little more than the waterfall located at the side of the property. It's blissfully remote here! And yet, each room has its own small refrigerator, and there's a small village about 15 minutes away, where you'll find a supermarket, an ATM, a bar/tobacco shop, and a few restaurants (including for take-out and delivery). There's a good breakfast buffet too. You'll need to rent a car, or take a taxi or Uber, to get here, but it's worth the effort. Stay here!

My wife and I loved our time here. The room was gorgeous - large, spacious, clean, extremely comfortable beds, and just a number of very thoughtful touches throughout. The hosts here were excellent - personable, friendly, and helpful, both during check-in and at breakfast. The breakfast was terrific - delicious coffee, amazing selection of breads, cheeses, jams, and a few other options, like granola and yogurt. I also appreciated the parking situation - there's a very convenient gravel lot located just across the street. The location is beautiful - very peaceful and natural with the surrounding trees and nearby river (which was running rapidly during my stay in the spring!), not to mention the gorgeous property that has all sorts of opportunities to sit outside and take in the natural beauty. You're about ~40 minutes from Nice, although there are some very charming nearby villages that are also worth visiting. One thing to note is that it might be tricky to find dining options, particularly on Mondays, so plan ahead for that.

I never write reviews but I just had to for this place - what a great little get away, it's an absolutely beautiful place. Now that I know what it's like I would have paid double what they charged. You will want to rent a car and drive through the mountains(you will need GPS), it's great fun and a little scary.

Perfect stay!

We loved our stay at Moulin Camoula. First it is in an amazing location for exploring les alpes maritimes… easy access to the beautiful villages of Tourette-Sur-Loup, Bar-Sur-Loup, Gourdon, Greolieres, Grasse and St Paul de Vence. The Mill was recently restored and the rooms have all the modern amenities you would expect. The bed was very comfortable. We turned down the heat and slept with the windows open to listen to the rushing water and it was MAGICAL! The Moulin offers a delicious breakfast included with your stay. We also received tourist information from the owner that was very helpful. We were only planning to stay one night but loved it so much we booked another night. It is approximately 30 minutes from the Nice airport.

Nestled at the foot of the Baou de Saint-Jeannet, Le Moulin Camoula radiates the authentic charm of the South of France. From the moment you step onto the grounds, you feel the pace of life slow. We stayed in Le Fousso, one of four thoughtfully designed apartments on the property. Spacious and airy, it features a large bathroom with both bath and shower, as well as a generous vanity – details that make a real difference after a day exploring the hills and perched villages of the Côte d’Azur. The kitchen is equally well equipped, with a fridge, stovetop, oven, and all the amenities you need to prepare your own meals, a luxury for travelers who like to mix restaurant evenings with quiet, home-style dining. What makes Le Moulin Camoula truly memorable, however, are its hosts. Michel and his wife embody the warmth and generosity that this region is known for. They are attentive without being intrusive, always ready with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a quick chat over coffee. In fact, Michel even saved us from what could have been a holiday disaster: we had accidentally left our passports behind, and he personally brought them to us, ensuring we made our flight to Portugal on time. That kind of thoughtfulness is priceless, and speaks volumes about the care they show their guests. And then there is the setting itself. Falling asleep to the gentle sound of the natural spring waterfall in the background was magical, the most restful nights of our entire time in Europe.
