“The swimming pool is huge, can easily accommodate scores of people. Rooms basic, but entirely sufficient for overnight stay. If staying longer, one might like to have a small fridge in the room, especially as no lunch services in the facility. (The two of us had a portable cooler that proved sufficent for out purposes during our one-week stay). Breakfast, dinner entirely satisfactory, the latter served 7-8 PM only. -- Price-to-room ration favourable”

Las instalaciones del hotel son amplias sin tener que ser muy distantes para caminar hacia el restaurante. La playa aún conserva su privacidad y seguridad. El gimnasio muy amplio y con buenas máquinas y el Spa en una ubicación separada y tranquila el servicio muy bueno. Excelente hotel para relajarse y descansar. ”

“The property is large and about 50 minutes from the airport in the middle of nowhere. The food options are great!! Reservations are not required for the restaurants but you have to get there at least 15 minutes before they open if you want to get a table. The selection of food at the buffet and the different restaurant are excellent. The people and service are are also excellent. The only con to this property is the beach. It is not very clean and we witnessed one of the souvenir vendors deal...

“I had a nice stay at occidental however I feel the resort should update the lighting on the resort. At nite it’s pretty dark. And they need to have make sure your rooms are stocked with wash clothes. I went several days begging for wash clothes. I had to use the hand towels to bathe. And thank god one of my friends from the trip gave me one because she had multiple. And they also need to have options to eat after 10pm. ”

“We loved our stay, the staff was extremely helpful and the view from our room was extraordinary. I strongly suggest getting a swim up room that's what we did, which made accessing things convenient. Customer service was top notch couldn't ask for a nicer staff. The cleaning crew was fantastic are room was left spotless every day. We really enjoyed the food. If you are not in good shape it's a long hike down to the tiny beach would suggest it for families with small children or elderly people to...
