Room was very clean. The receptionist on arrival was a little frosty. The receptionist on check out was very pleasant and very helpful.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The room was very clean and the staff was polite and always helpful. It is very conveniently located near the city center and it has very cheap parking in front of it. It's gym is very nice as well. I stay at The Rebyl every time I visit Nijmegen.
Pros: The place was super clean, the room was spacious, there is a restaurant on site....but that was part of the Cons.
Cons: 1) Took 20 minutes to check in. We have no clue what the problem was. We stood there and they kept saying "we're sorry this is taking so long" (we had presented our Marriott Member card, this is important for later). We also waited for the people in front of us to check in, they took forever too. 2) Parking - this is a city owned parking lot on site. It won't take any credit card that is not from the Netherlands. My husband went in to get change (30 Euros in coins). The woman at the front desk said she needed to talk to the manager about this. He waited...and waited. Finally he came outside to get me as I was waiting by the pay meter, told me to go in and wait (cause it's cold and rainy) and he would deal with luggage until we got coins. I go in....and After check in we walked over to the restaurant to see the meu. The lady working there was super helpful. They have a new menu coming tomorrow, so they are out of food today because it was all old menu food. She told us her favourite restaurant to eat at so we had our dinner at De Bok in old town that night. The wifi in our room would not connect so my husband went down to the front desk so inquire The same woman that checked us in said he couldn't have wifi because he wasn't a member (remember what I said about presenting or Marriott card?) So anyone who isn't a member can't have wifi?
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Conveniently located. However we got charged $670 for a Friday night. That’s the price of a 5 star hotel, which the Rebyl is not.
Brand new hotel, modern but with a home feel. Very comfortable bed and generous breakfast. Excellent gym. They gave me a room upgrade before I even asked. I will be staying there again.
I have stayed in some really nice hotels before, but the Rebyl was super nice, super clean, super quiet and overall an A+! Staff was as friendly as could be. Really a wonderful place. It's unlikely i will stay here again, since i live 4,000 miles away. But if I'm ever at another Iron Maiden show in Arnhem, I will be back!! Thank you!!
perfect starting point for visiting Nijmegen whether by foot or bike. Parking is possible in a parking lot in front of the hotel (ca. 10€ per day). Hotel furnishing looked very new and stylish. Room had moderate size with small refrigerator and coffee machine, beds very convenient. Sufficient sockets close to the beds. Bathroom very clean.
On arrival, the main entrance was locked due to an event taking place around the hotel, so I had to find my way in through a side entrance. Reception then informed me I’d need a room key to use the main door, which doesn’t make much sense for a guest who hasn’t checked in yet and has no key.
On top of that, water pressure in the shower was quite low, and at 8:30 AM on checkout day, there was nobody at the reception desk to check me out.
Possibly just a string of bad luck, but between these issues, I’ll be choosing a different hotel for my next business trip to the region.
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. They really managed to project a feminized modernity. My room had a very pleasant retro modern design and lighting that warmth despite the fact that it’s large with cement floors. I tried dinner a few time, the chicken tasted amazing, the ribeye was far-less so I was disappointed. Thé brunch was a little picky considering it was quite classical. I recommend this hotel and would go back without hesitation.
