โWe had a great stay. It was a city break with my two children and we really enjoyed the experience. The CoalShed has real character and was a great place to hang out with my kids and use as a base to explore all the great stuff on offer in Bristol.
We loved the games facilities and the 'honesty bar', which is a great idea and was definitely welcome in the evening.
The communal area is great for socialising with the other guests as well.
The rooms were comfy and really well laid out, there was...
โI would stay there again. However it would have been nice to have instructions on how to use the appliances. Had to figure out using chatgbt how to use dishwasher and washer/dryer. Could have had more kitchen garbage bags. There was just the one there and no others.โ
โWhat a lovely apartment - we wish we could have stayed longer. It was perfectly situated for my daughter's graduation, and with onsite parking and electric car charging, it couldn't have been more convenient for us.โ
โโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ Perfect Stay for a Weekend in Bristol
Stayed at the Leonardo Hotel Bristol City with my wife and also booked a room for my friendโs birthday. The hotel was spot on โ modern, clean, and super comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax after a day out in the city.
We went to see Moulin Rouge at the Hippodrome, which was just a 20-minute walk from the hotel, so the location was ideal for us. Plus, the staff were really friendly, and checking in was a breeze.
Would definitely...
โBed and pillows were very comfortable. Not badgered by staff, left to do your own thing which is important to us. We were at the front of thr hotel and in the night it can be busy and smoky. Air con didnt work throughout the night which was dissapointing but they did leave fanta lemon and vimto in the fridge so thats a win! โ
โA really comfortable stay, and a great night's sleep, that felt miles away from the hustle and bustle of Bristol, but still close enough to other amenities that you don't feel isolated. I didn't have dinner on this occasion, due to other commitments, but the menu looked very enticing. Breakfast was well presented and tasted amazing. Just what i needed whilst working away from home. โ
โWeekend staff were amazing. On Monday the chef was extremely rude and condescending when was told that the coffee machine had run out of coffee and when was requested for a fried egg. She literally snapped at my son when he asked for a fried egg. Not impressed at all! Otherwise this hotel deserves a 5 star rating all over โ
