"Tidy and comfy little resort the in room pool and rooftop pool were both amazing. The staff is helpful and kind. I would stay here again. Only small negative is there’s no where to unpack and put your things so you’re living out of your suitcase. "

"Our stay at Ayodhaya was not very pleasant. I will say the location is great as it’s very close to Ao Nang beach, the night market, and a lot of great food. However, the hotel itself is very outdated and not one I would recommend to travellers. Our room was quite a walk from the concierge and there were no working elevators. So when we had to check in and check out with our luggage, it was very hard to do with so many suitcases. Our AC was also not working and when we called to have it be fixed, they just asked us to wait a few minutes for it to cool down. They sent an engineer apparently when we were out, however, it did not fix anything. During the evening, when the lights were on in the hallways, there were a significant amount of moths surrounding it since the hallway is basically a long balcony. It was quite unpleasant and scary to walk through. As well, we saw lizards all day in the halls and even saw some sneak into some rooms. As someone that doesn’t deal well with creatures, this was a very uncomfortable experience. The handle on our door was also super shaky and felt like it would break every time we locked or unlocked our door. Overall, the stay was quite dissapointing."

"Oh my gosh! Literally paradise! 🌴 🌺 ☀️. This boutique, quaint hotel was a dream! Wish we stayed longer. There’s only about 6 or 7 little bungalows amidst impeccably beautiful, lush foliage and flowers! The pool was warm and refreshing. Several areas to lounge or sit. REAL COY FISH in the pond!! 🐠. Comfy bed. Incredible breakfast. Wonderful, friendly staff who were so accommodating! Super cool Thai inspired bungalows! Was just a piece a paradise and I’d go back in a heartbeat! "

"We stayed here for 5 nights and had a really great stay, we were a bit nervous after reading some reviews about noise level, but it was pretty quiet for the most part but YMMV. The A/C unit took a bit to get to the sweet spot and the building was a bit dinged up in spots, but the staff even with limited English was very sweet and accommodating. If location and price are two of the big checkmarks for you than I think Salty Sand is a good choice. If potential noise and partying isn’t for you I’d Mabye look elsewhere."

"From the moment we arrived at Hula Hula, the staff were exceptional. Checking in/out was smooth, rooms well cleaned and stocked, pool always clean, and the staff always attentive, polite and friendly. The breakfast buffet had a varied selection and the pool food was great. The location of the hotel is always great, close by to great restaurants and amenities and easy to get Grabs or transport to and from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel!"
