"Lovely historic building - located in a small town, close to Caen, Bayeux (with its famed tapestry), Normandy D-day history sites. Very clean. Restaurant was great. They have a tennis court and a little farm with VERY cute bunnies. Only thing to note is that they don’t supply conditioner so ladies bring your own or let your hair get frizzy like I did. "

They need to advertise their air conditioning is season dependent as when I went it was hot and the room air con was turned off and I was told it wouldn’t work until 1 June. Therefore I had to sleep with the window open which meant a lot of noise from different things. I perhaps would not have chosen the hotel had I known...

"Accomodations were very nice and the staff very pleasant. Only wish we had a refrigerator in the room... we had medications that needed to be kept cold and we needed to find ice to keep them cold throughout the night. "

"Right next to ferry port so very easy to find. Rooms basic but good enough for 2 people. if you want to watch TV there are no English channels. Breakfast was fine for a continental one and is included in the price. Small charge for secure car parking. However it wasn't that secure as one morning when i was leaving to visit some D day locations we found a migrant in the boot of the car. He was obviously trying to get to the UK and thought that's where we were going. This is a big problem in this...
