“The hotel looks dilapidated, As soon as you walk in it smells pretty awful. Going into the room I was nearly sick due to the smell of raw sewage. Quite literally the worst hotel I have stayed in anywhere in the world after 30 years of travelling/ working abroad. Staff were helpful in returning my £95 charge for staying there. I did not eat but seeing the restaurant I would not. 2 x bottles of water in the room were filthy dirty.”

“The Elite Plaza Hotel offered all the amenities that we needed for our stay in a small town. The hotel is right on the water with a lovely view and just steps from town. We were happy that we chose the Elite Plaza hotel.”

“Yes, it is a dated property, yet the rate paid was a direct correlation to it. If you want newer and modern, pay accordingly. However, with no sunset in the summer, some sort of blind is definitely needed. Also, figure out how to keep the solid doors from slamming! Awful in the early morning and evening worse in the late nights trying to sleep. Warn guest there is a loud/late events happening during their stay. Put them away from the noise, not right above it. Between the power boats revving...

“Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber, aber das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, im Bad war das Waschbecken kaputt, keine Klimaanlage. Pool sehr kalt. Zimmer nur zweckmässig eingerichtet. Sehr hellhörig. Preis-Leistung stimmt für mich nicht.”

“Room was very clean. Easy access to the room. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable though for me - was on the firmer side. Breakfast had a nice assortment of Swedish breakfast items. I was happy they had gluten free museli! Building was quiet and easy access to restaurants and the Paradiset. :-). Also a short walk to the train.”
