"This has to be one of the best hidden gems in Norway. The views are absolutely stunning, with a beautiful waterfall lookout and rooftop terrace. The hotel itself has a wonderful “old feel”. It is dated, but oozing history and well maintained. The rooms were very comfortable and very large, we easily fit our family of 4 in one of the family rooms. The breakfast was excellent and you could enjoy your coffee with magnificent views. Would highly recommend this place, especially for the views and wonderful old charm feel."
"Amazing location. Get a room with a balcony. If we didn’t we would have burned alive. Our room felt like a sauna when we walked in. The large sliding door let some air in but there is no AC in any of the rooms, restaurant, lobby, hallways, or elevators! In the summer it can get into the high 80’s like when we were there. I would never stay here again unless they add AC in the summer despite the amazing view and location. The staff was nice enough but didn’t have fans or anything to help accommodate. They should prohibit smokers outside in the bar as the smoke goes right up into the room. Parking also is an issue they had maybe 20 spots for the entire hotel so we had to walk into town (not far) to park. Having valet or even someone to help with your bags would make this hotel a lot better and more upscale experience for the money you’re paying. Easy fixes but someone has to care enough about the guest experience. They did allow us to do laundry after hours which we greatly appreciated. The bar stayed open late serving drinks, but had no food after 10pm."
"We stayed here for / nights during our visit to Geiranger, Norway. Nice clean property, fun by a friendly couple. They have a full restaurants with many menu choices. The restaurant was packed both nights we were there. The rooms are clean and well kept, but the bathroom was really small and it was hard to keep it dry. Overall great place to stay."
"Superb guesthouse with extremely welcoming staff, an amazing 3 course dinner (pre-book!), super comfy beds and a great breakfast.
Everything was perfect 👍"
