Hofslund Fjord Hotel

"Lovely historic property located on the fjord. When we were there in September the restaurant wasn't open for dinner so we had to find other options in the area. Parking is a bit of a squeeze for sure, but they did have it on site. Overall a lovely stay while in Sogndal."

"Delightful managers and staff. They were warm, kind and helpful to us during our brief stay. The small town is beautiful. The food at breakfast and at the restaurant is good. A nice place to stop off and enjoy."

"Very nice and less tourist than the alternative. Staff very helpful including directions luggage storage. What is funny is there is a cruise ship that is parked but it leaves at about 6 pm and you can rally enjoy the beauty."

"Great stay at Hotel Aurland! The hotel is quaint and charming, with a fantastic walkable location close to everything we wanted to see. The restaurant was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Aurland! for anyone visiting Aurland"

"The room was tiny with no room on either side of the bed. It worked well for a one-night stay for the two of us. Oscar provided an extension cord for a CPAP machine. The breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed talking with the other guests about the area. We even discovered that we had a mutual connection through ancestral farms in Skjåk. Her ancestors were Bøye and mine are listed as Bøje, which appear to be variations of the same name."

"Such an historic beautiful old hotel in Solvorn, Norway for our last stay before leaving the country. We just so happened to arrive the evening of the biggest storm in the last 25 years and our room was right in front of the ferry/dock to see all the action. As we arrived later in the day we were too exhausted to dine there so they brought us nice sandwiches and champagne upon arrival too."
