“Only issue was if you had people above you the noise they make can be heard”

“I was completely satisfied with the check -in, grounds, parking, privacy. The staff wax more than accommodating. I checked out at 3:00 am because we had a long drive. We discovered a screw in a tire and didn't want to start down the 128. I called the late check in number to see if we could go back to the room until 7:00 am when the repair shop opened. He was more than accommodating. Thank you,”

“Many thoughtful details at this boutique hotel like cookies, tea and coffee in the lobby. Simple home cooked breakfasts brought to your door in the mornings. The room we had was very comfortable and clean, the fire place was a really nice touch on cold evenings. Our room had a peek of ocean view from the seating area but otherwise the property is more nestled in the woods. There is no real “farm” to speak of other than a big flock of chickens. Lovey spot, worth coming back for sure.”

“Clean and great staff”

“This is an historic hotel. Common areas are lovely and well kept. Rooms leave something to be desired. Small bathroom - door unable to open all the way - hits the toilet. Super small sink - no place to put cosmetic bag or dobb kit. Very strange heating and cooling system - located so far down the wall you had to practically it on the floor to change setting. Poor lighting in room. Didn’t see any staff around the hotel except for one person at the front desk.”

“I loved that we got to have an ocean view! It’s a must if you’re booking here- and the ocean is a short walk out the door. It was so nice to have the slider open to listen to the waves. Surf and Sand is right on the main road, and also a paved walkway between the property and ocean (with vegetation to walk through). The paved walkway is a great way to walk as well as the pathways in the vegetation along the ocean. Fort Bragg was a great place to stop for a couple of days bc of the location,...

“The place was clean but there was an unidentifiable oder in the room. Airing it out didn't help much. The main problem was with the TV. There was no program reception due to reportedly not being able to connect to the internet. When i contacted the front desk the woman there said that the man who knows about that has gone home for the day. She came up and tried to fix it with no luck. Being in a motel room with no TV or internet connection is not good for me.”
