The Landmark Resort Nelson Bay
10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely stay! The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were even kind enough to help us change rooms when the one we initially received was a little far away and the view wasn’t quite what we expected. We really appreciated their understanding and assistance. Overall, a great experience and we would happily stay here again!"
Oaks Port Stephens Pacific Blue Resort

Pacific Bay Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Room was excellent as always, always a friendly check in experience. Bathroom was a little dated and needs some repair. Always a pleasant experience staying here, will definitely be back. Facilities are excellent and grounds are always very well maintained."
The Cubana Resort Nambucca Heads
8/10 Good
"A good option for overnight accom for drive between Brisbane and Sydney. Comfortable bed and quiet location but bathroom facilities need an upgrade. Good value for the price."
BreakFree Aanuka Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"It was a lovely stop over and a change from staying at a motel. The resort is very large with amazing facilities. Our room was spacious with a great kitchenette. Lovely decor. This would be fantastic for families or groups."
Ramada Resort by Wyndham Shoal Bay
8/10 Good
"Disappointed with our 2 bedroom Deluxe Waterview to find that one bedroom is great with balcony and views, whilst the second smaller bedroom is windowless, with an opaque-type sliding door (not legally a 2nd bedroom). But at least it had an ensuite (their marketing does not specify 2 bathrooms - that would help). Also not mentioned is the permanent resident/owners, who are permitted to smoke 24/7, so our apartment had smoke drift the entire time from below (also in neighbouring unit where other members of our group were). By comparision, end of floor unit is also a 2br Deluxe Waterview and both bedrooms have great views - and windows/doors, so if you're claustrophobic, or want a fair deal, book an end unit to get the best (and bigger floor plan). The main bathroom is in need of a deep clean - perpetual stale smell of the urine - not pleasant and apparently a big problem to install brighter bulbs too. Views are great (higher floors) but take your eye masks as not block out curtains if you’re in east facing room."
Opal Cove Resort
10/10 Excellent
"As a mid week stop over between Melbourne and Brisbane this place is right on the money with a great restaurant and bar in house and very clean comfortable beds"
The Dorsal Boutique Hotel

"Great staff and clean room"
Sails Port Macquarie - By Rydges
10/10 Excellent
"The property was beyond what we were expecting and would not hesitate to stay here again. We stayed in a Waterview suite and it was incredible. We would highly recommend this to any other travelers."
