โA good, well-run hotel. No criticisms. Also, we had a slight problem with a noisy resident in the next room to us. I contacted the night porter who quickly sorted things out, calmly, politely and effectively.
The restaurant is exceptionally good - way above the general standard of freezer to microwave meals you encounter so often.โ
โGot here late but the porter sorted my room out very quickly in a friendly and efficient manner. I arrived at the hotel just after midnight so never got to enjoy the dining experienceโฆ. At least not until breakfast!โ
โA lovely warm welcome, beautiful decorated room, the most comfy bed of our whole trip, a stunning guest house with a lounge and a snug. Host was so accommodating for breakfast, we requested 7:30 as we had a ferry to catch, this was not a problem, porridge was made to order and delicious, continental selection was varied with plenty of options for every one. It was a shame we only stayed for one night.โ
โThis was just an overnight after driving up from Dornoch and getting on the ferry to Orkney at Gills Bay the next morning. However Eilean and Graeme greeted us in the parking area and helped us move into our room. Provided us with lots of info on their property and where to eat. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast in the morning had lots of variety and our choices were delicious. โ
