“Lovely building and very close to town centre, all the staff are lovely - friendly and helpful. Our room was ok but not as clean as it should have been, only 1 set of towels on arrival, shower gel was empty. All got resolved though as soon as I requested. We hung up our towels to re-use but they were changed each day. Free bottled water provided each day and good tea and coffee set up. Bed was comfortable. “We stayed in a comfortable twin room at the Hand Hotel with a view across the river. One of the beds was slightly tilted due to the sloping floor which could have been easily corrected by using feet raisers on two of the bed legs.”
