"Hotel is in a perfect location with lots of places to shop around. They have a restaurant in the hotel, which we didn't try but it looked and smelled delicious. We only stayed one night and the room was in excellent condition. The hallways and room doors and beautiful. The front desk was very professional and courteous. Would stay in this lovely hotel again on my next visit to Galena!"

"The check in lady was sort of rude because we interrupted her smoke break to check in. The hotel was under construction so the pool was down and no parking."

It's connected to an Old Chicago restaurant so there is no need to find a place to eat. Rooms are clean and well stocked. Thank you to all the staff!!"

"The hotel is an old building that has been remodeled and is in great condition other than the bathtubs. Our bathtub and caulking were moldy and heavily worn. Breakfast was great and staff in the dining area were helpful. Front desk staff were less than great and acted like you were a bother. The area was not safe and I was concerned about leaving my car in the garage. Plus a train went by blaring it's horn at 1:30 am both nights we were there. It sounded like it was right outside our room. "
