"Location of property is very good as is overall property. Stayed in suite which I think is well worth extra money but furniture in main area of suite I feel could use updating. Have stayed here many times and will come back again. "

"The pictures on the “resort” website are heavily edited. After an ordeal checking in, I got to the room, which had hair in the tub and bathroom sink, the “black out” curtains weren’t as described, and the list goes on. I haven’t actually left a negative review in a long time, but it was bad enough for me to do so. Both receptionists I dealt with were rude and refused to call a manager."

"The rooms felt moldy, and the beach view was nice, but when it rained, it rained in the room. The a/c felt moldy and old. The bathroom was dirty when I arrived, and I had to clean it myself. "

"Due to a shortage of housekeeping staff we couldn’t get into our room until 6pm! The floor in our room was gritty due to sand being brought into the room. The room obviously hadn’t been swept for some time and the shower tray wasn’t particularly clean. Location of hotel was very good, right on the beach. The beach was great, white powdery sand. We sat on the beach and didn’t use the pool as there was loud music blearing out there. There were lots of kids running around. Hotels.com website says that beach sun loungers and umbrellas are complimentary, but in fact this is incorrect as you had to pay $55 per day!"

"Have stayed here 1 or 2 times a year for the last 7 years. Great value for the price. Could use some attention to a few issues. Only 1 of the 2 elevators was operational. Door to the room was difficult to close (latch issues). Neither of these issues were significant but need to be addressed. Last but not least, the pillows are flat and hard as a rock. Take your own pillows with you. I will continue to stay there as it is overall a good place to stay and I don't care for the high rise hotels."

"The front desk staff were all very kind and helpful. However, there was typically only one person so there was always a line of people waiting. We did require maintenance at one point and the maintenance man was there quickly and was friendly. We were in a room across the street. The lighting in the parking lot is poor. We were on the second floor and there are NO ELEVATORS! No good for two seniors with bad knees. The room itself was clean enough but the building is quite old and in need of major renovation. Our room was damp and there was mildew under the air conditioner. Also, no phone in the room so when we needed maintenance we had to walk across the street to the front desk. The pool was very nice, very clean. Plenty of chairs around the pool but the cushions were mildewed. We did see a couple of bugs in our room-nothing major, but when checking out I overheard the desk clerk talking with a couple that found bedbugs. We didn’t find any in our room. I wouldn’t recommend this place."
