"First, the good. This property truly is pet friendly! Areas designated for walking your pup, pup friendly rooms on the bottom floor and no one is bothered that you have them at a vacation destination. Grounds staff is super friendly, desk staff could be friendlier. The pool is clean and close, the beach is literally right out your door, regardless of what view you have. The water pressure was amazing and stayed hot as long as you needed it. Cons, granted we were there for Spring Break but when the walls are so paper thin, you can hear four different conversations from four different rooms at one time… which isn’t bad until it’s 3 am and your dogs are barking because the neighbors are arguing about how fat someone’s brother is… which apparently is offensive since he’s lost 70 pounds… guess how I know? Because I couldn’t sleep through this 2 am conversation from the room that shares our bathroom wall. There was a leak in the ceiling of the bathroom, ruined our extra toilet paper and dry towels but we didn’t call on it because we have pets in the room and didn’t want to be inconvenienced. Would we stay here again, yes if we bring our dogs. There’s no guilt when they bark in the morning after the neighbors keeping you up all night. No, if we are actually wanting a good night’s rest and downtime. "

"I would absolutely recommend Guy Harvey Resort. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were updated. The minor issue I had with noise coming from another guest was handled perfectly by the staff and I was eve offered a new room. The manager Joel went above and beyond to help. I book this place last minute and I wasn’t 100% sure how it would go but it went great. The pool was nice and the beach was quick and easy to get to. I enjoyed the outdoor bar aswell."
