“Very interesting situation. We never actually stayed at this specific property. Upon our arrival, a note was posted on the front door, instructing us to go across the street to a neighboring hotel.
We ended up staying at the Dom Pedro Hotel Madeira. It is a very nice property, lots of open space, b-fast included, and overlooks the ocean. Parking was limited.
After checking out (noon) we looked across the street to see our original hotel (Residential Familia) in the daylight, and saw that it...
“Room was wayyyyy too hot (30+ degrees inside) and no way to really cool. Outside was loud and the walls did not block noise at all. The hotel did not offer anything like earplugs or something.
Breakfast was of low quality.
Only good point is the relative late check out of 12;00.”
“Excellent choice for breakfast. The setting and location is wonderful - sitting round the pool, looking towards the sea. Right next to the cute small town with some lovely restaurants. Hotel of a good standard with equally nice comfy rooms. Would have given a 5 out of 5 apart from on occasion, not enough staff on at the bar pool area in the day sometimes and some of the sunbeds are past their best.
Would definitely stay here again.”

Billard, piscine et sauna très bien.
Cependant, le personnel est peu sympathique. De plus nous avons eu la surprise d’avoir des frais supplémentaires sur une taxe de charité. A faire attention lors du règlement final. Le personnel nous a demander de changer de place au petit déjeuner alors qu’il y avait plein de places de disponibles.
À part cela, l’hôtel est sympa dans un cadre agréable et le parking est gratuit.”
“No geral, bom. No particular, aqui e ali, detalhes que podiam ser melhores e/ou melhorados.
1. O buffet, não sendo mau, antes pelo contrário, houve momentos que podia ter sido melhor;
2. A falta de ar condicionado nos quartos, tendo noção do custo que isso acarretará, era uma vantagem;
3. Um mini-frigorifico no quarto era muito positivo, ter água fresca em diferentes momentos quando se está de férias num sítio quente seria muito bom;
