“This stay was the perfect hotel for relaxation, away from the madness of Funchal. It gave us a perfect base to tour the island. It gave us the chance to cover many levada walks and tour the island by car ( a car is essential if you want to explore). The hotel ran many other sessions including rum punch making, wine tasting and botanical tours. The facilities includes a freshwater pool, indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna as well as spa facilities. Staff cannot do enough for you and the breakfast...

“Parfait endroit pour un séjour paisible à Sao Vicente. L'ambiance calme qui y règne nous donnait envie de chuchoter. La vue de notre chambre était magnifique, surtout au lever du soleil où pouvait admirer le "montain glow". Le déjeuners inclut était composé d'ingrédients frais et variés, comme les fruits du jardins et le yogourt maison. Nous y avons passé deux nuits et on aurait voulu rester plus longtemps! ”

“Beautiful property with plants everywhere. A place to relax and chill amongst butterflies and plants! Staff and kind and attentive. Management respond to any issues (our frying pan needed replacing and they did after I fed it back. Breakfast has a good variety. The restaurant is nothing massively remarkable but a great thing to have close by as there are not many other places to eat in the area within walking distance. ”
