“This looks like a fairly new property. The room was fairly large and clean. Plenty of space to spread out your things without having to set bags on the floor. The bathroom was nice and clean too. It had a full kitchenette including refrigerator with separate freezer, microwave and two burner cooktop, even a toaster. Pretty nice! The odd part of this setup was that there were no pots, pans, cups, plates, not even a plastic fork. So strange. ”

“Hotel feels more like a motel than a hotel, but even though building is older, it has all amenities, except an elevator to get up to a room on the second floor. Had to carry my luggage up the steps, but the owner was kind enough to help if we needed it.”

“Max’s Roost was lovely! Clean, bright. It feels more like an AirBnB because there isn’t an in-person reception, but the communication was good and effective. There is a nice organized binder in the room to answer any questions you might have. My only warning is the bedframe is VERY creaky. If you turn over, it’s going to creak—very loudly. It’s alarming. Otherwise, it’s comfortable. At the restaurant below (which we highly recommend), some sort of mechanical noises started somewhere between...
