Virginia Union University (VUU) is a historically black university located in Richmond, Virginia, United States. It took its present name in 1899 upon the merger of two older schools, Richmond Theological Institute and Wayland Seminary, each founded after the end of American Civil War by the American Baptist Home Mission Society. "The room was very spacious and beautiful. I wish there was an outdoor area to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery, however, there are outdoor patios within walking distance, which made our stay very enjoyable. Will definitely be back."

"We stay in the Berkley when visiting Richmond. The hotel is pleasant and has a charm about it. Very good location for dining and seeing the sites. The hotel is going through an upgrade which is due as the carpeting in our room needed changing. We will continue to visit this establishment as it works for us. "
