“We booked to stay at the Nag’s Head entirely by chance because it is 5 miles or so from the place where we were going to pick up our new puppy! After a 5 hour drive from Newcastle the pub staff gave a friendly welcome. We were so glad that we hadn’t stopped to eat. Turns out this is a Gastro pub without the Gastro prices. Incredible food and array of beers. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was also amazing. Fantastic staff, little gem of a village pub. ”

“Property has an incredible view of the sea and takes just 1 minute to get down to a lovely quiet beach. Staff were really friendly. Bed was very comfy and shower worked really well. Water bottles and biscuits were dropped off each day outside our door. The breakfast included in the price of the room was really nice. ”

“Great one night stay. Good location with parking,15 mins walk to centre but also on bus route with close by stops. Nice clean room and comfortable bed. Good lounge/ bar area. V good full breakfast. All staff v friendly and welcoming. Barry was particularly helpful in forwarding on some items we’d left in our room - at minimal cost. Certainly stay again.”
