“The hotel was totally unique. Our room was excellent with all the mod cons one would expect to see in a hotel room. The communal areas were very inviting. The breakfast was very good offering a bit of everything. All the staff we had dealings with were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is situated in a prime position right by the cathedral. The castle, museum, shopping and restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

The only thing we were not too happy was the free drink with the meal which was house wine as we had RED and WHITE which were not very good as we did express that to the staff there? “We stayed at Caistor Hall as we were going to a wedding reception nearby. We received a warm welcome when we checked in. The room itself was very large with a good modern bathroom, although to get the shower at a reasonable temperature was a work of art - you need to be patient that the hot water will eventually come! The decor is a little old fashioned but in keeping with the building. Breakfast, included in the room rate, was excellent with a good choice available. We would definitely stay...

“A great one night stay! We didn't venture outside of the hotel much but it was really nice having our own external front door. The room was amazing with a lovely bathroom. One thing to note... No radiator in the bathroom, just a heated towel rail. So the bathroom was cold. But plenty of radiators in the rest of the room. We were also lacking a kettle in the room and found the coffee machine a bit of a faff to use. Oh... And the smallest TV in the world. Made watching 1% Club almost impossible 😂...
