“The breakfast was excellent! If you are parking on the premises I advise reserving a spot in advance. There were no spaces available our first night but they were able to accommodate us for the rest of the stay. The staff was nice, hotel is very well maintained. For summer travelers, be aware that the rooms are not air conditioned which necessitated keeping windows open at night to sleep, but then we had to endure the noise from the restaurant in the courtyard which ran as late as midnight on...

“Belle Normandy was a charming place to stay. We stayed in one of the houses directly across the street from the main hotel. It was wonderful to have ample space after staying in small hotel rooms just prior to our arrival in Bayeux. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in the area.”

“The hotel was a chateau which had been completely refurbished about a year ago. Restaurant was great as was the breakfast. However the room we chose was a de lux garden view room but was far from being a garden view it looked over the court yard. The manager did offer to change our room the second night but as we were only there 2 nights I declined but he did treat us to cocktails so no complaints.
